MY FIRST NAME - - FAY

MY FIRST NAME - FAY

I’ve wondered why my Mother named me FAY. As the years passed I’ve wished I'd received a different name. Many times through the years I've received mail with the designation, Miss Fay Parker, Ms. Fay Parker, Mrs. Fay Parker, so I’m obviously considered by many to be of the feminine gender. While in the military one of the unprincipled, guys in my outfit ridiculed me by referring to the following lines from the child song, Polly Wolly Doodle. Many of you will know it. It goes, “Fare thee well, fare thee well, Fare thee well my FAIRY FAY. One dictionary definition of FAIRY is “slang for a homosexual Man.” Furthermore, we all know how the word GAY has been corrupted. It was always defined as “merry and bright,” whereas it now also means “homosexual.”
Lately however, I now look at my name in a more positive light due to something Lori recently told me. She states that FAY in Spanish means FAITH. It’s spelled fe but sounds the same as we say my name. Thank you Lori for this enlightening bit of information.
Have you ever wondered what our names were in our Pre-mortal life ?
